Battling Against Principalities And Powers?


According to Webster's 1828 Dictionary(a Bible Dictionary), Principalities can be defined in the following ways:

1. as Sovereignty; supreme power,

2. as a Prince; one invested with sovereignty. Titus 3,

3. as the territory of a prince; or the country which gives title to a prince; as the principality of Wales.

4. Superiority; predominance.


5. In Scripture, royal state or attire. Jer 13.

English Dictionary says:

Principality means

Sovereignty; supreme power; hence, superiority; predominance; high, or the highest, station,

-the territory or jurisdiction of a prince; or the country which gives title to a prince; as, the principality of Wales.

-a prince; one invested with sovereignty.

-princedom: territory ruled by a prince.

However, the princes, sovereignty, supreme powers or authorities we are talking about here are the satanic or evil ones.

Thus, principalities and powers are satanic spirit being in the heaven lies that fight the children of God.

To be able to overcome in this conflict(with these satanic principalities and powers), one needs to be connected with the word of God and in fervent warfare prayers.

All your blessings in the hand of your enemies must be released if you dare to challenge the forces of hell with heaven's approved weapons of war.

Remember, we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities and power.

Words of God are ultimate weapons to destroy Satan & his agents(evil spirits).

Everything you think that is happening now had happened before and after Christ, and important ones, for our spiritual growth and guide, are documented or written in the bible. 

 Therefore, Bible is like expose book as regards to what to do and expect while living on earth; you should always consult your bible for solutions in every situation you find yourself here on earth.

 Fight your battles through or with what is written in the word of God!!!
